Carambola is from 2 - 6 inches long...waxy skin that ranges in color from pale yellow to orange...unripe the color is green. Unripe carambola is used as a vegetable in china...ripe carambola in the west indies is used mainly as a drink and jam....or as a garnish.
I got a beautiful shot of the carambola now coming from a budding flower.... beautiful.
