Stinging Nettles


A persistant perninal that can grow about 4-6 feet. The leaves are high in chlorophyll, vitamin A, silica, Calcium and iron. Nettles cleans the blood, strenghten bone, hair nails and teeth. It is a very alkalizing food to the blood stream. As the name suggest it is an irratant if brush against with bare skin.

Nettle tea is traditionally prepared by air drying the plant then taking 4-6 mature leaf and steeping in warm water for 5-7 minutes. add honey if needed.
